Company Background
RCN is a small woman-owned business that has been in operation for over thirty years. RCN specializes in two main areas of business: first, Federal Government systems and the operations necessary to efficiently run an accounting operation; and second, commercial sector accounting systems, operations and tax preparation. RCN is guided by two highly skilled professionals, with over twenty-nine years of successful experience. Teresa A. Niffenegger is the President and is responsible for the operation of the commercial unit of the company as well as contracts and the administrative functions.
Robert C. Niffenegger leads the performance of all government engagements. He is versed in all areas of Federal requirements, Federal reporting requirements, automated systems (both COTS products and custom developed systems), operational requirements, business process reengineering and evaluations and analysis of Federal accounting entities. Robert brings a great deal of experience, leadership, and team building skill sets necessary to perform successfully in the Federal arena.
Robert is also the co-founder of the tax practice portion of RCN. In June of 2002, Mr. Niffenegger consolidated his years of Federal systems and information technology consulting into RCN and now acts as the senior manager for Federal Systems, E-Commerce, Information Technology, Requirement Analysis, Software Evaluation, Strategic Planning, and Consulting Services. In addition, Robert is responsible for all day-to-day operations of work performed for clients, and performs various aspects of marketing, business development and proposal preparation.
